Some mid-year client statements delayed

Important message from Canada Life
 
You may have noticed some mid-year statements are late. Even though statements are late, policy information is available and up to date for affected polices on Workspace and My Canada Life™. We’re sorry for any inconvenience to you and your clients.
This doesn’t impact the segregated fund policies that recently moved to a new system over the Aug. 4 to 8 weekend. Mid-year statements for these policies were delivered.
We’re working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, and expect statements to be delivered to you and online for your clients the week of August 21.
 
Mid-year statements are delayed for:
  • Standard Series, Partner Series and all Preferred Series segregated fund and annuity policies
If you have clients with affected policies
  • You can access policy information for these policies on Workspace.
  • Clients who are registered users of My Canada Life™ can view their policy details online.
    • Clients who aren’t, can register now at canadalife.com/gopaperless5
    • Clients with policies that are corporate owned, managed in trust or if they’re a power of attorney will be able to manage or get information about their policies by contacting you or calling the Client Service Centre at 1-888-252-1847 (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. ET).
Reminder
Mid-year client statements will be delivered digitally from now on. We communicated this change last year, but this is the first mid-year statement cycle since then.
