Reminder: Changes to banking products took effect June 1, 2023
In March, we notified you and clients that our distribution agreement with National Bank of Canada for banking products and services wouldn’t be renewed. In April, clients were mailed a letter from Canada Life and a follow up letter from National outlining the details of this change. On June 1, 2023, client servicing for banking products transitioned fully to National Bank. Clients will contact National Bank directly for all inquiries and to request changes to their accounts.

To help understand changes to processes and servicing banking product, please refer to the updated Process Guide. For more information on the transition to National Bank, check out this Q&A.

Is it time for value investing?
With today’s rising interest rates, increased inflation and market volatility your clients want to know what you're doing to protect their portfolio. This can make it a good time to consider value investing, which looks at the health of companies, not just how they are currently performing. Check out the latest report from Canada Life Investment Management Ltd. to learn more about how and why the value investing approach outperformed other styles recently and how to start the conversation with your clients in 2023.

Reminder of June 19 decommissioning of Canada Life My Account
During the week of June 19, 2023, we’re decommissioning Canada Life My Account as part of our ongoing work to move segregated fund policies to our new administration system. Your clients currently have access to their policy information on My Canada Life™, which gives clients easy access to important documents, like statements and tax slips and the option to go paperless.

Clients will see a message on Canada Life My Account encouraging them to use My Canada Life for policy information. If they haven’t already registered for My Canada Life, please encourage them to register today. It’s easy. All they need is their current policy number to register at canadalife.com/gopaperless2.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we take this next step in our journey to make it simpler for you and your clients to do business with us.
