Ontario’s Title Protection Framework is live; here’s what you need to know

Ontario has launched its title protection framework, regulating the use of the “financial advisor” and “financial planner” titles. The regulator has now announced which credentialing bodies and credentials qualify, including Advocis’ own Institute for Advanced Financial Education. We know our members have questions about the framework; this Advocacy Bulletin is aimed at addressing them.
