The newsletter sent to you on August 27, told you about a special introductory offer for term life insurance, starting Sept. 1. It referred to four free months for qualifying new polices. (You can see the newsletter here.)

Here are some additional details and clarifications:

1. The offer is subject to provincial rules that vary by province.  In light of provincial differences: 

• In B.C., the offer is capped at three free months. 

• In all other provinces, the offer is for four free months.
