Delays can be caused for various reasons, sometimes it is as simple as having incomplete or inaccurate documentation. If there are any changes in circumstances that are overlooked and not reported during the contract process, this can also cause a delay.  Please complete the forms in their entirety to minimize and prevent contract delays. Contracting can also seem to take a long time, or actually be delayed because the Agency Services and Contracting departments are dealing with Advisor requests from various regions and business channels.  The Head Office teams are managing the contracts and business transfers on a priority basis with documents that are in good order.
