Switches are processed the same day if received In Good Order (IGO) by 9.30 am PST. Trade Settlement is T+2.
There are specific scenarios that can impact the trade date and we have no control on that.
In Emergency Response periods, we do our best however, we cannot guarantee same day processing.
New applications, additional deposits, fund transfers, switches, withdrawals, surrenders and T2033 transfers received by 10:00 am daily, when received IGO, will be processed that day. This time may change during RRSP season or specifically sent communications from Global. The carrier may have reasons to reject trades and then communication is either to the advisor directly or the dealer (Global).
For example, we received switch requests after 10.00 am, which is after the cut off time of 9.30 am PST. Global processed the switches next business day on FundServ electronically. Look for your switches in VirtGate (T+2).
Any trades that are Not In Good Order (NIGO), cannot be transacted until the Advisor corrects so as to be IGO.
