Canada Life My Par Gift™ was introduced on March 30 and continues to make an impact. This first-of-its-kind single-premium participating life insurance product is designed exclusively for charitable giving. Philanthropists and charities are referring to it as a game changing solution that fills an important client need and will lead to new opportunities.
On April 27, 3000 people attended Insurance Live!, one of the largest virtual insurance events in Canada. Highlights included our first ever live dividend scale announcement and a par account investment strategy update. The Canada Life Café featured exciting conversations about Canada Life Elevate, My Par Gift and more. If you missed Insurance Live!, we’ve got you covered! Canada Life Illustrations is our mobile-friendly, web-based illustrations platform. It continues to evolve with new features and navigation enhancements based on your feedback and provides the best experience to illustrate new policies. This spring, we added more products and strategies including Estate Transfer+, Corporate Estate Transfer+ and critical illness insurance. Use it to show clients the value of critical illness insurance by highlighting the reduction in premium currently available by creating simplified illustration reports. It’s also the exclusive platform to illustrate our term life insurance reduction in premium and our new My Par Gift. This means you can start a claim any time, 24/7.
- You or your clients can start an online claim for life insurance or a wealth policy at canadalife.com/support/claims/individual-death-claims. If one of your clients starts an online claim, we’ll notify you, so you can decide how you want to be involved.
- You and your clients can still call the Client Service Centre to start a claim. You can still send claim forms by mail, fax or email. Online claims simply expand your options, so you can work however and whenever is most convenient for you.
