We had a wonderful session with John Li on FHSA and Retirement Planning, where John joined our Board members Angelina Hung and Wai-Ke Kim to discuss and help our audience navigate all the nuances of a First Home Savings Account. |

March:
Financial Planning Summit
The Financial Planning Summit was our biggest event this year! Held at Fairmont Waterfront Hotel, the FPS attracted the brightest minds of Canada’s financial planning landscape. The Financial Planning Summit was an oasis for exchanging ideas, updates, and engaging in dialogue about tax, estate planning, and ethics. Our speakers, sponsors, attendees, and volunteers, made this event a highlight of our year. |

Ethics & Professional Responsibility
Ethics & Professional Responsibility was another virtual event from March! In this session with Sean Carey, we explored the importance of adhering to a Code of Professional Conduct, the enforcement mechanisms employed by the Institute for Advanced Financial Education, and the symbiotic relationship between ethical standards and the well-being of both financial planners/advisors and consumers.
