The Advocis Book Club!

The spring is in the air and it's the perfect time to join the Advocis Book Club! Our second book selection is Thinking, Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics.  

In Thinking, Fast and Slow, Kahneman engages the reader in a lively conversation about how we think. He reveals where we can and cannot trust our intuitions and how we can tap into the benefits of slow thinking. Kahneman offers practical and enlightening insights into how choices are made in both our business and our personal lives—and how we can use different techniques to guard against the mental glitches that often get us into trouble. 

The Advocis Book Club is hosted virtually in a private online forum where members can connect to discuss the current book and network with each other.

The group will spend two months on each book, so you'll have plenty of time to read! The club also focuses on business-related titles that are a good match for our financial advisor community. 

The Advocis Book Club is managed by PBC Guru.

PBC Guru manages professional book clubs for companies and members of professional societies, and are moderating the group to help make this program a great experience for all participants.

Staff from Advocis are participating and assisting with moderation as well. As a member, all you need to do is show up and enjoy!
