Just like you, we have been "hold up" in our home offices for far too long and we’re ready to stretch our sea legs and explore our home and native land! The Newfoundland and Labrador chapter is pleased to welcome you to St. John's this summer for the Strategies for Success conference.

Reconnect with your colleagues from across the country over a value-packed day of speakers, panel discussions, and fellowship. Then get your jig on with an Island-style cocktail hour, and gala dinner featuring a special musical guest Shanneyganock.

Don't want to dine alone? No problem, companion(19+) tickets are available for you to bring a guest to the Gala dinner.

We are pleased to announce we will also be offering a virtual experience to Advocis members who are unable to attend Strategy for Success in person. This ticket will allow you to live stream the event the day of and will also offer you the ability to view the recording of the event for a limited time.

Strategies for Success 2022 virtual attendees are eligible to receive  Continuing Education credits.

Shanneyganock are one of Newfoundland’s most identifiable bands. They've been a fixture in the local and traditional scene for almost a decade.

Shanneyganock was never really like any other band on the Atlantic scene: they don't make videos or dress in Queen St. fashions, they don't have a light show, and they don't worry about their 'image'.

They are big, burly men who know the meaning of hard work and the power of music to transcend all trouble. Shanneyganock doesn't sound like anyone else, either. Born of a love of classic Newfoundland folk acts like Figgy Duff and Ryan's Fancy, their music embodies the power and pathos found in the best of the Island's traditions.
