Premium rate adjustments and improvements to cash surrender values and reduced paid-up values

SSQ Insurance is helping you kick start the summer with great news!

Effective May 28, 2019, we have lowered our rates on our Whole Life 100 and Term 100 permanent insurance products.

Note that our positioning for the Term 100 is now amongst the best in most age groups.

The rate decreases apply to the following products:

Product	Average decrease
Term 100	5.9%
Whole Life 100	4.6%*

*Non-smoker rate in most age groups.
Note that there could be some slight increases for certain age groups.

In addition, we have significantly increased the cash surrender values on our Whole Life 20 and Whole Life 100 products.

The reduced paid-up values on our Whole Life 100 product is also increased.

Your clients will benefit from these very generous options included in their permanent life insurance coverage.

Transition rules

To ensure a smooth transition, please review the following transition rules:

Application signed before May 28, 2019	Application signed as of May 28, 2019
For all applications signed before May 28, 2019 and received at SSQ Insurance on or before May 28, 2019, the most advantageous offer will apply.	For all applications signed on or after May 28, 2019, new premium will apply.

Please note that no exceptions will be made.

New illustration software version

The new version of the illustration software (version 8.0) with these new features is available as of May 28, 2019.
