Dividend scale updates

Effective July 1, 2020, the dividend scale will decrease for participating life insurance (par) policies issued from the combined Canada Life™ open participating account. The dividend scale will also decrease for pre-amalgamation Canada Life open and closed par policies. The dividend scale will stay the same for all former New York Life and Crown Life par policies.

This dividend scale announcement does not yet reflect any impact of COVID-19. We're monitoring this impact closely. A further reduction in the dividend scale may be considered before July 2021.
