Herb has been involved in the life insurance industry for over 33 years and has an accounting background.   He has spent most of his career working in insurance sales and management fields holding positions in Finance, Advanced Marketing, Distributor Relationships, and Product & Business Development.  Herb has also been very active in industry associations over the years. He has represented the industry through both the CLHIA and CALU, working closely with a number of committees, and more recently assumed the role of the inaugural chairperson for the Canadian Executor Advisor Network. Herb has been a featured speaker at various industry events and written articles on insurance estate planning matters.

Professional Designations:  Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified Preplanning Consultant (CPC), Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).

  Pierre Ghorbanian,

With 15 years of advanced marketing experience in the financial services industry, Pierre has an extensive background in financial and estate planning strategies including generational wealth transfer, corporate owned life insurance strategies, insurance leveraging, and retirement funding strategies. He has been an associate member of CALU for 6 years and a member of Advocis since 2006.  Pierre has also written and published a number of articles on insurance planning matters.

Professional Designations:  CFP (Certified Financial Planner^†) and FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute).  In addition, he has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph and an MBA in Financial Services from Dalhousie University.
